7. Dave Keon
1967 Stanley Cup Finals: With an average age of 31, it was a 27-year old "youngster" by the name of Dave Keon who was instrumental in Toronto's 13th Stanley Cup championship. While Keon only contributed a goal and assist in the six-game series win over the Canadiens, it was his outstanding defensive performance in shutting down Montreal's star centreman Jean Beliveau that earned him playoff MVP honours. Forty years later, Keon remains the only Leaf ever to have won the trophy named for the former owner of the club.

Gord Stellick says: The '74 Final pitted the rough & tumble Flyers against the high-scoring Bruins. During the regular season, the Bruins scored 76 more goals than the Flyers. The Bruins owned the Flyers in the Boston Garden going into the series but lost twice at home in the Final. Parent was the ultimate stand-up goalie with the quickest feet of his era. He made the Flyers believe their defensive style would beeat the run & gun Bruins. The Game 6 shutout proved his point.
